Eventually, every project I make can be burned to a DVD.just not on the first try. I have learned almost everything about the software, and #3. I paid for it already, and it can't go back #2. I bought a VERY high end Gateway computer, specifically for video editing, and what program came with it?.you guessed it, Studio 8.well, being a begginer, I was up for a challenge, and I just couldn't get this program to work, AT ALL.turns out, that for the first couple months of owning this program, it was WORTHLESS!.it wasn't until the "free upgrade" was available that this program would work (It wasn't me at all).yeah, that's great, pay, and wait three months for it to work properley?.I don't think so! So, anyway, I learned everything on the program, and I would say i'm pretty experienced now.but with 99% of the projects, you (or I at least I do) will encounter some type of freak error that will occur for an "Unknown" reason.Studio shuts down automatically, causing you to loose your work, even with "autosave" Hours and Hours are wasted using this software, but I continue to use it because #1. here's a review I wrote on so I don't have to explain it.: What I will tell you is that #1 - while Pinnacle has A LOT to offer, it usually lacks stability. My first test project video was 8 minutes at 4.9G Below is a screen shot showing the best quality Pinnacle export settings I used.8.6? i'm not familiar with that patch.but I suggest going with 8.8 - that one is usually problem free.
#Pinnacle studio forum windows 10
I should mention that I'm using Windows 10 on a fairly new PC with ample storage capacity. We'll see how pleased I am with this product in time as I use it more. Seeing that I had past experience with an older version of Pinnacle Studio, making the transition to the newest product version became an easy learning curve experience with the exception of the two issues I experienced when making my first drone project video. It took all of maybe 15 seconds to resolve once I changed the setting in this one control panel field. Ugh! Lots of wasted time experimenting and researching, but I learned a good bit in the process. I could then export the project video to any format and size I wanted, and successfully view my completed video project. This one simple step totally resoled the issue. Then I restarted my computer and the Pinnacle software. In a day and a half I received an email response suggesting that I go into the Pinnacle control panel settings, and change the hardware setting from advanced hardware acceleration to none. I also looked online at the Pinnacle forum and couldn't find a solution, so I contacted Pinnacle technical support. I spent a day and a half experimenting with different export settings with no success. I was only able to view the below image in play back.
I first exported at the highest best quality settings, and playback didn't work at all. The second issue I experienced was in play back. After editing out the clips shot at different speeds, the export function completed.

When exporting, I found that once the export function reached a clip that was at a different speed setting, the software froze. At first, I mixed clips that were shot at different settings. I was able to produce my first video as a test with two issues.

I purchased the Pinnacle upgrade to Pinnacle Studio 22 Ultimate.
